| Position Summary The Senior Workover Foreman assures adherence to Chord's environmental and safety programs related to workover operations. This individual will actively support and audit programs to ensure environmental and safety compliance and enforce environmental and safety programs related to workover operations as incorporated into the company and third-party providers. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential to company values and operational excellence. The position will report to the Workover Supervisor and will be based out of Dickinson, ND field office. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays.  Communicate and enforce Chord Energy's policies and procedures related to workover operationsResponsible for advising Supervisors regarding Chord's compliance with all workover related EHS regulations, and consultant performanceChampions Chord's values of Care, Courage, Unity, Ownership, and ResilienceAssists with the "Chord Consultant Onboarding" process Support and audit safety training, awareness, and incentive programs ensuring Chord and approved workover providers comply with all safety rules and regulations Work with Operations and EH&S to implement a contractor safety management programSupport and drive the Well Servicing Recommended Practices (WSRPs), promoting continued improvement efforts supporting company EHS compliance, applicable API guidelines, best practices, including advising engineering and operations staff of needs and changesTrack emerging regulations and implement programs to keep Chord workover operations compliantMaintain records and accurately file all required reports and statistics on timeParticipate in third party EHS audit programs and monthly rig inspectionsAssist and support incident investigations, including root cause analysis, development of incident alerts.,Assist in the development of SOP's and best practicesAssure workover providers acquire and maintain rig inspection/certification documentation, and orchestrate appropriate audit practicesSupport and encourage spill, incident, and air release reportingLead the effort to safely standardize workover operationsDrive unity and stability within the workover disciplineOn call as required for incident response and critical field operations supportTravel weekly to various field locationsWork with Workover Scheduler to ensure wells are being scheduled efficiently30% of time is field based, interacting with consultants and crewsWork with Engineering on high profile jobs i.e. fishing, liner repairs etc.Take calls/questions from consultants regarding workover operationsProvide direction and guidance to Rig ForemanReview job reports to include cost accuracy and efficiencyReview and approve vendor tickets and invoices All other duties as assigned or based on business need This job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the position.  High school diploma or GED 8 years workover operations experience, including field workover operations supervision experienceCompetent in navigating Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)Experienced in the utilization of WellViewPossess the ability and willingness to learn other applicable software and applicationsDemonstrate an understanding of applicable 29 CFR 1926 OSHA RegulationsDemonstrate knowledge of API RP 4G, API Spec 4F, and API RP 54Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in a variety of areas including Workover services, employee supervision and development, and project managementPossess a thorough understanding of what a healthy Stop Work environment can beDemonstrate a thorough knowledge of LOTO/Hazardous energy isolation and application thereofAbility to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment, flexible with the demands of a growing company Ability to meet deadlines Strong interpersonal and analytical skills and the ability to work with internal and external contactsValid driver's license with acceptable driving record for Company motor vehicle insurance requirementsMust be at least 21 years old for Company motor vehicle insurancePhysical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting with visits to the field.
