Sr. Manager, Corporate Development

Daikin Applied is seeking a Sr. Manager of Corporate Development who will be responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and other corporate development activities. This role aims to enhance the company's competitive position and long-term growth by identifying, evaluating, and executing high-impact business opportunities. Location: Plymouth, MN, Hybrid

What you will do:

• Help drive end to end corporate development transactions
• Support Sourcing of M&A ideas from internal and external resources
• Lead financial modeling and valuation, inc. Synergy planning
• Support cross-functional teams through due diligence
• Support structuring and negotiation of transactions with counterparties
• Support completion of transaction documentation
• Coordinate with Corp Dev integrations team for integration planning and execution
• Support communication with executive leadership and the corporate approval process
• Support development of the extended corporate development team and continuous improvement/playbook projects

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA Degree in Business Administration, Finance,Accountingor related field
• 2+ years of experience in M&Acorporate development, corporate strategy, investment banking, private equity, or a related field
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information and develop actionable insights
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and synergy planning
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Coordinate large cross-functional teams
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• M&A Transaction experience across transaction types
• M&A structuring
• Corporate Strategy and/ or M&A integration experience

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from$100,800 - $166,700K + up to 25% bonus in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
