    | The BIM/CAD Operator is responsible for creating and modifying elements within a virtual environment using industry specific software applications. |  
    | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |

 A working knowledge of computer aided drafting and software applications at a level normally acquired through completion of an associate's degree in computer aided design and drafting or related field or equivalent experience; and2 years' experience in the electrical construction industry, with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards

 Experience in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCad, Bluebeam Revu, Trimble, and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)Ability to take verbal and general written direction well and turn that direction into appropriate, working shop drawingsAbility to manipulate Revit families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters, and similar Revit functionsFluency in the 2D and 3D spaceUnderstanding of 3D coordination with other tradesAbility to receive and transmit documents on behalf of the design teamFluency with all plotters, printers and reproduction systems used in house or on the job siteFluency for importing documents, such as spread sheets, photos, images, and word processing files into Revit projectsSelf-motivated, proactive and an effective team playerExcellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentialityExcellent oral and written communication skillsMust have the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

 Model electrical systems based on markup drawings and/or verbal direction provided by electrical detailersSetup of Revit views and sheets in preparation for shop drawingsAnnotate and dimension shop drawings for field installationUtilize Bluebeam Revu software to markup PDF drawings and communicate with team membersPrepare copies and help make sets of documents for transmittal to other partiesDownload drawings and information from the Web, SharePoint, or project websites (FTP, BIM360, etc.)Check own work for accuracy before passing on to othersPerforms other tasks and special projects as assigned
