Role Description

You will be responsible for the integration of external systems and development on Salesforce Platform and fostering an environment of innovation in the AI human work environment.

We are looking for a talented, self-directed, software engineer to deliver key initiatives in the DET Revenue Nextgen Contract Lifecycle Management Engineering team. Role Responsibilities

  • Full stack development skills with hands-on development experience
    Developing dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and secured enterprise-wide Mulesoft integrations on the Cloud platform.

  • Provide leadership in designing and architecting data pipelines using the Mulesoft platform.

  • Collaborate with geographically distributed teams and contribute to small and large-size implementations.

  • Provide technical leadership to engineers on the team

  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology

  • Force.com and Lightning Web components[LWC] development skills as well as Salesforce Flows are highly desired

General Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software development

  • 3+ years of API and web services development experience using Mulesoft 4.x

  • 2+ years of experience building integrations using Apache Kafka/Anypoint MQ/Rabbit MQ

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Computer Science or relevant experience

  • Experience developing and supporting distributed systems and enterprise system integrations using RESTful APIs and standard data formats (JSON, XML, SOAP)

  • Experienced in designing and implementing integrations using MuleSoft ESB, Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Flow Designer, and DataWeave, with strong proficiency in ETL processes, error handling, and API lifecycle management.

  • Proven ability to assess integration requirements and optimize resource utilization by accurately estimating vCore capacity and SLA targets based on QPS, data volume, and solution design to ensure high performance and scalability.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD technologies, such as Maven, Jenkins, and Git

  • Strong understanding of data structures and data management practices (maps, caches, ETL), with practical experience in writing SQL and other database query languages.

  • Mulesoft Certified Professional and understanding of Mulesoft Enterprise Security and other security features (such as policies, roles, etc.)

  • Salesforce certified Developer, Advanced Developer certification

  • Working knowledge of Public cloud platforms like AWS/ Heroku.

  • This role is Office-Flex (~1-3 days/wk in office)

Desired Technical Skills

  • Experience with Apex, Lightning WC, Mulesoft, and the Salesforce.com APIs

  • Experience with AI developer productivity tools Cursor, GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer

  • Experience with web application development including HTML, CSS, and Javascript

  • Experience with Python, NodeJS, Heroku, Amazon Web Services
