WORK SHIFT

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Prepares and performs all scheduled start-up inspections, as required.
2. Performs line clearance.
3. Responsible for updating and tracking performance measures and reporting cell production on Tier I board.
4. Inspects parts visually per appropriate JBS and inspection requirements.
5. Inspects parts dimensionally according to part drawing and requirements using measuring tools; documents results and ensures compliance to drawings and specifications; performs testing of products, as required.
6. Anneals products as required by the router; documents information as outlined in the manufacturing process specification (MPS).
7. Starts work orders in upon completion of work orders and update as needed.
8. Reconciles work order quantities in the system(s).
9. Verifies work order accuracy and completes documentation.
10. Submits daily lots to Quality Assurance for final audit.
11. May operate four or more molding machines, as required.
12. Performs Operator II job duties as required.
13. Assists in the training of new Molding Operators, as requested.
14. Performs re-inspection, re-work, sorting and cleaning of plastic parts, as requested.
15. Ensures that work areas, machines and equipment are clean and orderly.
16. Performs other duties and tasks as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Education and/or experience equivalent to a high school diploma.
* Three years of molding and/or manufacturing experience.
* Ability to read and understand written instructions.
* Ability to follow oral instructions.
* Ability to learn about and remember key information about parts molded in the department.
* Detail oriented.
* Good manual dexterity and the ability to perform manual tasks requiring some fine motor skills.
* Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.
* Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.

The risk category explains whether or not employees are likely to come into contact with blood or body fluids while performing their jobs. Risk category III states employment and procedures that do not require exposure.
