Job Details

This position is responsible for adoption, management, and growth for Cencora's first-to-market Intelligent Suggested Order pharmacy purchasing automation solution, providing leadership and management of the program in its earliest commercialization phases, and managing the successful evolution to a fully commercialized solution. This role works closely with solution owners, field sales, Account Experience, and directly with customers to ensure alignment and execution of solutions and initiatives to support Cencora's goals associated with our ecosystem of inventory solutions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and leads customer adoption strategy and provides white glove client support in commercialization of the Intelligent Suggested Order offering to improve customers' buying experience and behavior
  • Leads identification and preparation of data and KPIs for tracking customer behavior and system performance, ensuring customer-facing teams are prepared with data and insights to support clients and improve pull-through of the solution
  • Recognizes opportunities to improve solution development and client satisfaction with intelligent ordering capabilities; communicates opportunities effectively with solution development lead
  • Bridges gaps for internal sales and support teams through understanding of pharmacy operational and buying workflows, and contextualizes Intelligent Suggested Order within the pharmacy workflow
  • Develops systematic approach for hand-off of white glove service to appropriate internal teams after initial customer adoption of the solution
  • Collaborates with HS&SS Solution Development team to synthesize data and usership of initial commercialized solution to prepare for subsequent phases of development and commercialization
  • Elevates the performance of internal support teams (Customer Implementation, Customer Platform Support, Account Experience) for customer training, customer systems support, etc. to ensure uninterrupted experience with program implementation and support.
  • Follows customer responses to new ideas, tracks and analyzes the success of the program
  • Drives product enhancement based on current customer needs and feedback
  • Performs related duties as assigned

Experience and Educational Requirements:

Normally requires broad training in fields such as pharmacy, pharmacy administration, pharmacy procurement, 340B contracts and administration, or similar vocations obtained through completion of bachelor's degree program; requires 7+ years related experience, such as pharmacy buyer or other roles gaining experience in the hospital or similar settings. Depending upon business unit, may require one or more of the following; progressively responsible experience in the pharmacy/distribution business or healthcare and related customer base.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:

  • Experience working in the pharmacy setting, either with buyers, pharmacy leadership or in other pharmacy-related roles. Understanding of pharmacy operational workflow.
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy ordering workflows and processes, pharmacy inventory, supply chain, formulary, and implications of P&T and inventory decisions.
  • Analytics skills to track customer behavior, synthesize customer feedback, and predict trends.
  • Working knowledge of 340B rules, regulations, and impact to buying considerations in the pharmacy procurement setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading complex implementations and projects.
  • Well organized with demonstrated success in planning and managing multiple client needs simultaneously and ability to demonstrate keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking and expresses ideas clearly, concisely and logically
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to assess changing conditions, values and needs of the customer; ability to conceptualize, develop and lead the effort required to support change

Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
