THE ROLE We are seeking a visionary technical leader with a strong foundation in numerical analysis and high-performance computing. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of applied mathematics and performance engineering. You will lead the analysis and improvement of GPU kernels, drive innovation in multi-precision and numerical stability, fostering a culture of technical quality that includes performance, accuracy, and engineering excellence. THE PERSON The ideal candidate brings over a decade of experience in developing high-performance numerical algorithms for scientific and AI workloads, with a strong emphasis on GPU optimization and distributed computing. You have a proven track record of bridging mathematical theory with real-world performance tuning, and you are passionate about designing scalable, accurate, and efficient methods. Your leadership experience includes mentoring teams, driving implementation decisions that prioritize accuracy as one of the many dimensions of quality. You excel in cross-functional collaboration, especially in environments that require tight integration between software, hardware, and system architecture.
