Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $183,100 - $206,100. Off-scale salaries and other components of pay, i.e. a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step may be offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions, qualifications, and experience. QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred: RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching: Candidates are expected to actively participate in the teaching mission of the School of Veterinary Medicine. Teaching responsibilities include participation in lectures, laboratories and other teaching activities in the DVM professional curriculum, graduate clinical (resident) training program, graduate education and mentoring (PhD, MS), and/or department-driven undergraduate courses on campus. Service: University and public service through committee work, participation in professional organizations, continuing education and other appropriate means is expected. Professional Competence: Will advance the discipline of physiology within the School of Veterinary Medicine, as well as locally and nationally. Expected to establish reputation for research excellence locally, regionally, and nationally.
