POSITION SUMMARYThe SWOT Warehouse Specialist will be dispatched to multiple warehouse locations to support acquisition integration, warehouse moves, and provide relief help as needed during peak distribution cycles. This position plays an integral role in the successful operation of our U.S. AutoForce warehouse locations based upon the needs of the business.

This position can be located anywhere across our U.S. AutoForce footprint and will require traveling 80% of the time.

To be considered for this position, it requires a Regional Manager's Recommendation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Participates in business acquisitions, warehouse moves and special projects.
  • Demonstrates leadership and initiative while serving on site; assist with goal oriented strategic priorities, project management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Displays autonomy in decision making; serves as subject matter expert who is able to pivot quickly between tasks to best support operational needs.
  • Facilitate timely and frequent communication with operations leadership around the status of priorities and projects.
  • Utilizes independent judgement when addressing priorities.
  • Receiving: Check in and process proper documentation. Stock products and process returns properly.
  • Loading: Pick products for daily deliveries along with special deliveries and loads trucks. Load trucks using good judgment regarding use of space and product safety.
  • Returns: Inspect and physically count return merchandise assuring it is in resalable condition in order to give a "Quality Minded" reputation
  • Demonstrate safe work behaviors in all assigned tasks

Operate power equipment, including powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts; may perform counter, dispatch, or backup driver duties

  • Perform cycle counts and manage the process related to this
  • Make, monitor and maintain records of adjustments to inventory
  • Provide service to sales staff and customers
  • Spot semi-trailers for daily loading line-ups
  • Ensure fiscal accountability through responsible utilization of company dollars and the timely completion of expense reports

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age (mandatory company policy)
  • Ability to project a positive image to customers and team members
  • A valid driver's license and good driving record
  • High school education or equivalent
  • 3 years prior experience in warehouse, inventory control or related field, or equivalent training
  • Ability to work independently and deal with a variety of situations while using sound judgement when unexpected situations arise
  • Ability to supervise or lead others
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities
  • Excellent math skills and understanding of basic accounting methods
  • Good memory and able to work accurately with lengthy part numbers
  • Ability to follow directions and safe operating procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds depending on the location, and work at heights of 25 feet on a regular basis
  • Willing to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to travel with short notice
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
