At Constant Contact, we are seriously awesome people who take ownership and make an impact by operating with the mindset, integrity and courage of a small business owner. There's something so profoundly rewarding about knowing that your work is empowering people everywhere to pursue their dreams. Here, we all play an integral part in helping business owners, entrepreneurs, non-profits and individuals to succeed by giving them all the help and tools they need to grow online. We're energized by new challenges and new possibilities-and we're just getting started!

We have an opening for a Lead Product Designer who thrives at the intersection of strategy and design - someone just as passionate about mapping holistic experiences as they are about building them. This role will be a cornerstone of our Growth team, driving new customer acquisition, building solutions for new customer groups, and helping the business think and work differently. You'll champion elevated, end-to-end user experiences that align with business goals and customer success, applying design principles, research, and experimentation to shape what's next for our company. As an expert and strategic design leader, you'll bring clarity to complexity, elevate design maturity across teams, and mentor peers in turning insight into impact.

You'll be joining a tight-knit, collaborative design team where your voice matters. We're growing fast, which means you'll have a real opportunity to shape not just the work, but the team itself. This is a leadership role that sits at the intersection of design, product, and user experience-so you'll be a key voice in helping define the future of our product.

Plus, we're nice. We support each other, celebrate wins, and nerd out on Figma keyboard shortcuts and Slack GIFs.

What You'll Do:

  • Design for the full journey: Own critical flows like onboarding, activation, and trial-to-paid conversion, while ensuring experiences connect across marketing, product, and support.
  • Drive experience strategy & vision: Partner with product, engineering, marketing, and business leaders to define and align on customer-centered growth strategies that balance user delight and business outcomes.
  • Influence through strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional and senior leaders to advocate for customer-centered thinking, guiding decisions that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Lead co-creation: Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions to define experience strategies, journey maps, and service blueprints that connect the customer experience end to end.
  • Connect the ecosystem: Work closely with marketing, sales, and support to ensure seamless, cohesive experiences across every touchpoint-from first impression to long-term success.
  • Leverage insights & experimentation: Use conversation data, behavioral analytics, and experimentation to uncover opportunities, measure impact, and continuously refine the user experience.
  • Set and scale experience standards: Lead best practices in experience design across the organization, establishing systems, patterns, and principles that scale with us.
  • Map and optimize experiences: Use journey mapping, service blueprinting, and systems thinking to identify opportunities, close gaps, and improve end-to-end consistency.
  • Prototype & validate: Rapidly create and test concepts in Figma and other tools, leveraging AI where valuable. Validate solutions through user research, usability testing, and experimentation.
  • Mentor & uplift: Provide coaching, feedback, and thought leadership to elevate the design team's craft and impact.
  • Measure & refine: Partner with product and research to define success metrics, run post-launch evaluations, and iterate for impact.
  • Shape the design culture: Help grow a supportive, curious, and ambitious team of designers who care deeply about our users.
  • Envision AI Integration: Champion and integrate a vision for how AI can be infused into end-to-end experience design, exploring and leveraging AI tools to enhance design processes and customer outcomes

Who You Are:

  • Experienced Design Leader: 8+ years in product or UX design, with a portfolio that demonstrates impact on both digital product flows and multi-touchpoint experiences.

  • Influential Partner: Confident in engaging senior leaders and cross-functional peers to drive alignment and advocate for design-led, customer-centered growth.
  • Strategic & Analytical: Strong in problem framing, synthesizing complex research, and turning insights into clear opportunities.
