Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies to provide customer service at financial institution locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those involving potentially armed situations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the business premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security breaches, facility hazards, and emergency situations.
• Maintain high visibility while on patrol to help to deter potential incidents and provide reassurance to employees and/or visitors.
• Act as a first responder to emergencies and assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal procedures and client protocols.
• Document and communicate incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific and Allied Universal reporting procedures.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or local law enforcement as required during the course of duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Candidates must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
