Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Full Time in CROCKETT, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents, while your strong customer service skills will support positive interactions with employees and guests. You will conduct routine patrols and respond to situations as needed, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. This role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated and reliable team.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior, noting any irregularities relevant to the food and beverage location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or theft within the food and beverage environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences as per site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with client staff and other Allied Universal team members to maintain an orderly environment.
• Provide information and assistance to visitors, employees, and/or contractors as needed while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
• Comply with all company and client site regulations, policies, and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
