Overview
The Director, Partnership Operations & Delivery will lead the operational execution, delivery, and strategic enablement of CPI Card Group's strategic partnerships, focused on Instant Issuance and Digital Issuance solutions. This role serves as the operational and delivery lead across multiple functional areas-implementations, vendor management, marketing coordination, product strategy, and product development-ensuring that CPI's solutions are successfully deployed, scalable, and commercially aligned with both organizations' growth strategies.
The ideal candidate will combine strong operational leadership, cross-functional coordination, and strategic partnership management experience in the payments or financial technology sector.
Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Operations
Lead all operational aspects of the CPI-Fiserv strategic partnership, including delivery execution, process optimization, and ongoing program performance management.
- Serve as the primary CPI operational point of contact for Fiserv, driving collaboration across technical, implementation, and business teams.
- Develop and manage standardized delivery frameworks and SLAs to ensure consistent and efficient deployment of Instant Issuance and Push Provisioning solutions.
Implementation & Delivery Management
- Oversee all implementation projects for a defined strategic partner'sfinancial institutions, ensuring on-time, high-quality deployments that align with CPI's integration specifications.
- Collaborate with CPI's Implementation, Support, and Integration teams to streamline client onboarding, certification, and production readiness.
- Define, track and report performance metrics (deployment timeframes, success rates, customer satisfaction) to CPI and Fiserv leadership.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage operational relationships with key vendors supporting the partnership (e.g., hardware, software, logistics, and personalization providers).
- Ensure vendor performance aligns with CPI's quality, delivery, and compliance standards.
- Support joint vendor evaluations and new technology integrations that enhance the partnership offering.
Product Strategy & Development Support
- Collaborate with Product Management and Product Development to define roadmap priorities that align with partner integration and customer requirements.
- Provide operational feedback and market insights to influence new product features, deployment tools, and process improvements.
- Lead internal go-to-market and product planning sessions.
Marketing & Program Enablement
- Partner with CPI Marketing and dedicated partner Sales teams to create and support campaigns, collateral, and brand alignment for the co-branded solution.
- Ensure compelling messaging, documentation, and positioning for migrating Instant Issuance and Push Provisioning customers to the CPI solution.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in operations, program/product delivery, or partnership management, preferably within payments, SaaS, or banking technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of Instant Issuance, , and digital issuance ecosystems. Strong understanding of Fiserv platforms and processing capabilities.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving product, technology, operations, and sales teams.
- Demonstrated success managing strategic partnerships or enterprise integrations with top-tier processors or financial institutions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to operate effectively across organizations and executive levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field;
