The Opportunity As the Senior Director Operations - East within the Department of Student Success Operations, assumes a pivotal leadership role, responsible for optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and establishing policies and procedures for effective and efficient activities within the United States' Eastern region. Responsibility encompass a broad spectrum of areas, including processes, procedures, operations, information technology, emergency procedures, communications, record-keeping, operating policies, inventory, billing, course scheduling, faculty assignment, facility appearance, university branding, program marketing, base/community engagement, and the overall student experience. Responsible for the lease management efforts, which involve negotiations and the enforcement of lease terms, while also maintaining DoD Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in alignment with federal mandates. Directly responsible for overseeing facility operations and swiftly addressing any issues or damages, collaborating closely with landlords, Education Service Officers (ESO), and the Legal Department. Moreover, coordinates logistical support (Enrollment Management, etc.) for University-related activities, including regional graduations and outreach efforts. Building strong relationships with governmental authorities, industry leaders, and community stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations is crucial. Works closely with State Authorization on site location matters and collaborate with the Information Technology Department to meet IT requirements. Disaster response planning, tracking, after-action reports are a key aspect of this role, as well as ensuring the resolution of any disaster response is efficiently achieved. Additionally, staff and asset accountability, budget management, cost-saving measures, safeguarding University assets, compliance with accreditation requirements, Internal Audit compliance, and the establishment of policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency within the Eastern region are integral to this position. This position is designated as a remote position requiring frequent travel.
