Job Description

JOB OBJECTIVE: Assist the Product Marketing Team with project work and day-to-day operations including performing market research analysis, executing marketing campaigns, creating content, and evaluating metrics of ongoing marketing campaigns and efforts.

CORE DUTIES:

1. Support the global marketing team in commercialization of launched products.

2. Assist with product launch-related activities as needed.

3. Uses scientific knowledge to assist with content creation, updating, proofing and curation.

4. Uses marketing and analytics knowledge to assist with evaluating metrics for campaign efforts.

5. Work with Marketing Services on proofreading, copywriting, or special projects.

6. Assists with campaign report development, training preparation, conference/tradeshow activities and events as needed.

7. Assist with local trade/vendor shows, conferences, and events as needed.

8. Other duties as assigned

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A current student pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree in marketing, biotechnology, biology, genetics or other life-science related field.

2. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to effectively work on many priorities at one time, which change frequently.

3. Must have excellent written and verbal communication.

4. Must be proficient in MS Office suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint at Word.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Work or course experience in biotechnology or other science related field.

2. Work or course experience in marketing or related field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Ability to work with computer equipment.
