Job Description
Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Ponca City, OK Hours Varied Essential Functions of Employment with DLO: Show up for work, on time & prepared each and every scheduled work day Perform all tasks and processes assigned to you including all tasks and processes you are fully qualified to perform and all tasks and processing that you may be over-qualified to perform Maintain a positive and supportive attitude throughout each and every scheduled work day & work as a collaborative team member with your fellow teammates on a daily basis Perform testing in the areas of Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Serology, Microbiology, and Blood Banking in a hospital environment. Coverage for 1 weekend per month and shift coverage for PTO, call-ins, etc. Responsibilities: Understanding of standard laboratory processes and procedures. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Must have a good understanding of laboratory quality assurance standards. Must have good computer skills. Qualifications: AS degree in Medical Lab Technology or BS in Medical Technology. ASCP MT/MLT certification or equivalent or be eligible for national MT/MLT certification. 1-year previous laboratory experience in a hospital setting preferred. Good customer service skills is a must. Some phlebotomy tasks will be required. Holiday and weekend rotation may be required. May be required to work outside of regularly scheduled hours.
