Overview

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Technology Specialist to join our team of talented consultants providing professional services to the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSW(A&S)). This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.



Responsibilities

The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign additional duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.

    Maintain and collect data using different tools and statistical techniques such as MS SQL queries from various databases, such as but not limited to MS Excel, MS Access, SharePoint and data management systems to provide accurate and reliable administrative reports, presentations and dashboards, as required.
  • Transform data sets through quantitative and qualitative analysis into insights and compelling visuals that help inform decision making and improve the value of the client enterprise.
  • Manipulate large data sets and use them to identify trends and reach meaningful conclusions to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Present data-driven insights and address questions from a non-technical audience.
  • Understand data gaps that tie data components together for visualization purposes.
  • Provide assistance in the development of workflow strategies, and design, maintain and troubleshoot MS SharePoint sites, Teams channels, and tools within Office 365.
  • Manage and maintain the SharePoint environment, including site collections, permissions, and user access.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint and Teams-related issues, providing timely support to users.
  • Develop and implement SharePoint and Teams governance policies and best practices to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Create and maintain documentation for Office 365 processes, user guides, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions that enhance SharePoint, Teams, and overall workflow functionality.
  • Conduct routine Office 365 training on usage and flow, refine user interfaces and fields based on client feedback, and conduct platform maintenance as necessary.
  • Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement.


Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate is an experienced analyst that is eager to learn and thrives in a team environment. Specifically, the candidate will be proficient in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience or equivalent experience in substitute of educational requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Highly organized.
  • Experience working with Senior Executives in the Government, preferably the DoW.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to adapt quickly in a changing environment.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated experience working with Power BI and/or Tableau, SharePoint, Excel, SQL, and programming languages (e.g., Python).
  • Experience with PowerApps preferred.
  • Proven quantitative and data analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with DoW is preferred

Clearance: This position requires an active SECRET security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Location: Work is performed on Government site at the Pentagon and via telework. Employment is not full-time telework but conducted in a hybrid schedule consisting of both on-site support and telework. Employees will work in close proximity with Government personnel.

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
