This position is part of the Global Logistics team and reports directly to the Global Process Owner for Logistics. The Global Logistics function is essential to GSK's mission of delivering medicines safely and efficiently to patients and customers worldwide. Our team oversees the planning and coordination of transportation networks, as well as the optimization of warehousing and distribution. By collaborating across countries and working closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams, Global Logistics ensures operational excellence and supports GSK's commitment to improving health outcomes for millions of people globally. Job purpose: The Process Manager (Cost to Serve) is the subject matter expert (SME) for logistics freight audit and settlement, ensuring that robust, standardized, and efficient processes are established and fully leveraged throughout GSK. This position works closely with both internal and external partners to design, implement, and continually enhance strategic logistics processes. By utilizing data and digital technologies, the role drives greater visibility and supports informed decision-making. The SME also plays a key role in supporting change initiatives, user acceptance testing, and master data management to facilitate effective freight auditing and settlement. We are seeking a high-calibre person who excels at managing complex logistics transformation projects, with a strong focus on simplification, standardization, and automation. In this role, you will be pivotal in optimizing GSK's global logistics freight audit and payment operations, which encompass more than 40,000 intercontinental shipments each year across our Pharma and Vaccines network. Location: Ideally you will be based at GSK HQ (in London), but we will also look forward to high calibre applicants based at our logistics hubs in Wavre (Belgium), Poznan (Poland) or Durham (North Carolina, USA). About You: This position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing subject matter expertise throughout GSK. You will bring substantial hands-on experience and deep knowledge in logistics and freight settlement, consistently upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. Given the multifaceted nature of this role, which involves engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders-including on-site teams, above-site functions, and senior management -you must be highly motivated and adept at navigating complex environments. Success in this position requires a proactive, self-driven approach to problem-solving, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to influence and inspire others to achieve outstanding results.
