Overview
This is an 8 month engagement hybrid in Redmond, WA. Expectation is at least 2 days a week onsite. It could extend up to 18 months. Partnering with Aquent, we are seeking a highly skilled and passionate engineer to drive critical projects that enhance efficiency and impact our core business functions. As an engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing groundbreaking internal services and products, streamlining essential business workflows, and automating complex operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering solutions that enhance efficiency and directly contribute to the success of our business operations. You will be at the heart of building innovative new services and products, focusing on creating robust, scalable solutions that automate and optimize internal business processes. - Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects.
- Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data.
- Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications.
- Implement system software and customize to client requirements.
- Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans.
- Code new programs to client's specifications and create test data for testing.
- Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs.
- Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation.
- Provide quality assurance reviews.
- Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2-4 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in core hard skills including React, C, C#, Azure, and OpenAI.
- A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience with large systems software design and development.
- Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems.
- Demonstrated experience in programming, problem diagnosis, and resolution.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Full-stack development experience with strong expertise in React and Azure.
