Overview

The primary responsibility of the Wealth Investment Trading Specialist is to support all trading functions in Wealth across multiple platforms and custodians. This role rebalances portfolios to established models and monitors and approves the trading activities of others. You also ensure prompt resolution of trading issues. Additional responsibilities may include application upgrades, management reporting projects, and other Wealth Trading functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rebalance client portfolios to established models in a timely manner.
  • Execute trades with various custodians in a timely manner.
  • Monitor daily trade activity to ensure accurate and timely settlement of trades.
  • Maintain portfolio model structure in Trading applications.
  • Communicate with SMA managers and notify them of cash requirements.
  • Accurately set up and maintain asset coding in Trading applications.
  • Plan and implement application updates and upgrades as assigned.
  • Must stay current on regulatory changes and put into practice within established timeframes.
  • Special projects as assigned. Independently handle a wide variety of situations and assignments that are non-routine.
  • Create, document and implement trading related workflows and procedures. Workflows must address efficiency, operational excellence and client experience.
  • Train new Wealth associates on Wealth Trading applications as assigned utilizing various types of training formats.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, investments, finance, information systems or relevant area preferred; experience will be considered in lieu of education.
  • Series 65 license is required or must be obtained within 90 days.
  • Experience managing Wealth portfolios and equities trading a plus.
  • Position requires sound analytical, technical and financial skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and develop rapport and relationships across the enterprise.
  • Must maintain current knowledge of industry specific regulations.
  • Understanding and strong working knowledge of MS Office products; ability to effectively learn and utilize multiple Wealth Management and Trading Systems.
