At Parker, our team members belong, matter and make a difference. Shipping Receiving Associate- Split Shift General Description Coordinates all packaging and shipping. Receives all material, processes paperwork, and delivers material to proper departments. Deliver and pick up Parker HSD material at supplier locations, support Production Control by performing loading and packaging functions within the plant. Working Procedures1. Works with minimum supervision. 2. Organizes work to be done in shipping and receiving areas as directed. 3. Processes all shipping documents, verifies and signs all incoming freight bills. 4. Traces shipments when required. 5. Package shipments in proper containers. 6. Schedules incoming/outgoing transportation. 7. Responsible for inventory and ordering shipping supplies; cartons, boxes, etc., when approved by supervisor. 8. Verify supplier counts from packing slips, records proper part number and purchase order number onto proper documents. 9. Deliver incoming packages or materials to their destinations within the plant. 10. Loads and unloads trucks. 11. Delivers and picks up parts as scheduled by Production Control. 12. Complete daily trip reports and expense reports as required. 13. Participates in "continuous improvement" activities/efforts with the classification/department.
