Parker Meggitt, a recent addition to Parker Hannifin, is a global leader in the Commercial and Military Aerospace markets, specializing in a wide range of products including fire and smoke detection systems, extinguishing systems, bleed air overheat detection systems, actuators, rudder pedal assemblies, pumps, fuel gauging systems, and high-temperature cables. Located in Simi Valley, CA, this site is within the Fire Safety & Power Systems Division (FSPSD) and is a key supplier in select energy markets, particularly in nuclear gas analyzers and nuclear containment vessel penetration cables. We work directly with some of the largest aerospace companies in the world, including Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, and Lockheed Martin, among others. Production Assembler 1 Position Summary: The Production Assembler 1 performs a range of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations, under well-defined instructions and in accordance with company policy and safety procedures. Education & Experience: Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations. Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field Years Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
