The Logistics Coordinator coordinates the shipping and receiving of goods in accordance with logistical schedules and the expectations of customers.

Position reports to Import/Export Specialist and will interact with the operations and customers.

Arranges freight services to facilitate shipping and receiving.

Shipment Tracking (Inbound & outbound)

Reports (Cost, performance, chargebacks)

Analyzing error reports and identifying corrective actions

Filing freight claims

Review and approve misc. shippers

Reviewing shipping errors and identifying corrective actions

Communication and coordination with Brokers and Carriers

Assist with Import/Export audits

Assist with Free Trade Agreement data collection.

Attend Logistics and Compliance trainings

Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a shipping/receiving/distribution role.

College degree required, in business preferred.

Possess intermediate computer skills and be able to understand electronic processing

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface.
