ThePayroll Specialist plays a critical role in delivering consistent, high-quality HR services across a range of advisory and administrative functions. This role focuses on supporting and executing established HR solutions, with key responsibilities including:

  • Administration of employment and personnel records.

  • Statistical and compliance reporting.

  • Deployment of rewards and recognition programs.

  • Accurate and timely payroll processing.

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies

  • Providing responsive and effective employee service support

  • Driving automation and continuous improvement of HR workflows

Role Overview

This position is part of the Professional Stream, designed for individual contributors who apply specialized knowledge and expertise to deliver results. While not primarily a people management role, it may involve:

  • Coaching or mentoring junior team members.

  • Informal supervision or oversight of lower-level professionals.

  • Managing specific processes or programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently within defined guidelines to complete tasks in Payroll and Time & Attendance.

  • Apply practical knowledge of systems, procedures, and compliance requirements.

  • Evaluate and select solutions from known alternatives within the area of expertise.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in payroll, or similar functions across Latin America or North America.

  • Strong understanding of payroll systems, labor regulations, and compliance standards.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Workday - HRIS and time tracking systems.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
