Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities (Essential functions and duties):

  • Execution of corporate physical security strategies and programs within the assigned region.
  • Execution of regional/site Facility Security responsibilities:
    • Manages contract guard force in the designated region/country/site.
    • Maintains the safeguarding of employees, buildings, technology, and materials and evaluates existing procedures and identifies proper applications to mitigate areas of vulnerability.
    • Responsible for Incident response, investigations, and root cause analysis.
    • Performs security compliance and risk assessments of office spaces, manufacturing plants, warehouses and third-party service providers as required within region or as directed.
    • Collaborates Advises on physical security design & planning for facility projects.
  • Performs regional protective services responsibilities:
    • Manages vendor/contract engagements to support services.
    • Participates in threat management responses and investigations within the region
    • Conducts security awareness training on physical security policies and rules for employees in assigned area or as directed.
  • Performs regional Fraud & Loss prevention duties.
    • Advises the business on loss prevention strategies and recommendations.
    • Conducts internal investigations as assigned by the Investigative Oversight Committee.
    • Supports sales & services fraud investigations, advises on prevention tactics, and provides prevention education and awareness to the business as required.
  • Liaison with industry peers, law enforcement agencies and first responders regarding mutual security or safety concerns.
  • Provide additional tasks and services as required or delegated by the Senior Regional Security Manager or his/her designee.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree recommended in fields such as criminal justice, homeland security, emergency management, or commensurate experience.
  • Must have at least 5 years' experience in physical security, law enforcement, military, or any combination thereof
  • 30% Travel Requirement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing security operations in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have knowledge of best practices in facility security, guard force deployment, and security system standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Must have effective communication, technical writing, presentation development, and organizational skills.
  • Experience and knowledge in conducting investigations and interviews.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual and stressful circumstances.
  • Strong customer service and service delivery.
  • Position requires demonstrated integrity, honesty, poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to plan, coordinate and manage staff and operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
