Title: Implementation Analyst - Funded thru: 11/01/2026 $70,000 - $80,000 - Posted Thru: 10/31/2025 Location: 100% Remote - Must live and work in the state of MI Purpose: This position will support data strategy, interoperability, and health information exchange resources. The individual in this position uses knowledge of national best practices in social care, data utility and analytics, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration will support and implement key data strategy and health IT priorities of the Policy and Planning Bureau. Qualifications/Requirements: Education: A Master's degree in a Public Health related field is required for this position. Will consider candidates with a combination of a Bachelor's degree, certification, and professional experience which equates to a graduate program. Experience: 4+ years professional experience in health care, social care and/or health IT. With at least 2+ years of project management experience in health/human services. Public health experience a plus. Important Skills and Characteristics:
Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Position has potential for fully remote or hybrid work (subject to Office of the State Employer determinations on State of Michigan Work From Home Policy and MDHHS epidemic orders). If in-person work is required, this position will be based in Lansing, and may require limited in-state travel. Requires a valid vehicle operator's license and access to a vehicle to attend off-site meetings, conferences, and trainings. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WORK OF OTHERS: provided leadership support to interns, fellows, or "detailed" staff from other parts of MDHHS working on projects. IMPACT ON PROJECTS, SERVICES AND OPERATIONS: This position has a direct impact on the quality of services provided by MPHI to MDHHS. REQUIRED COMMUNICATION
