University Physicians Job Description
#upjobs Follow University Physicians Patient Accounts written procedures to resolve overpayments from insurance companies and patients Responsibilities: * To work all assigned task lists, emails daily * Work overpayments from electronic worksheets for all insurances and patients * Print all necessary information at the office to complete the refund check process * Review and process refund request letters from insurance companies * Ability to scan and index all documentation related to correspondence and EOBs with a minimum of 98% accuracy rate * Ability to analyze complex accounts * Make phone calls to patients and calls to insurance companies when appropriate * Complete all job responsibilities following written procedures * Complete various projects or assignments as assigned by supervisor * All duties as assigned * This position is eligible for University Physicians Work From Home program. Part of the time will be onsite and part of the time will be from remote. Shift
M-F: 8 am -5 pm Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired. Two (2) years of clerical experience; education may be used in lieu of experience. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in patient accounts, medical office, or bookkeeping. Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department. Anticipated Hiring Range
