Woodhull Medical Center, an affiliate of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, is dedicated to exceptional patient care and outstanding medical education. As a mission-driven institution, Woodhull provides care to the residents of North Brooklyn and operates as part of NYC Health + Hospitals, the city's public hospital system. We are currently recruiting full-time Hospitalists to join our clinical team. Hospitalists supervise residents on a busy inpatient service, with teaching and supervision as major components of the role. Hospitalists also serve as Core Faculty in our ACGME-accredited residency program, which includes 75 residents. Candidates should be comfortable managing patients throughout the continuum of hospital care. Responsibilities include ordering appropriate tests, managing medications, coordinating specialty consults, overseeing nursing and support staff, writing discharge and follow-up notes, and communicating with patients' primary care providers. The position follows a 7-day on/7-day off schedule. Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine is required.
