Summary of Job Duties:The Supervisor, Attendance Coordinator provides leadership and oversight for all Workforce Management Team functions which include generation of bi-weekly employee attendance reports from PBI, preparing standard attendance related employee disciplinary notices, tracking and trending unit attendance disciplinary action metrics, entering completed disciplinary actions into the UKG-WFM System, tracking compliance with shift requirements for In House Agency, PRN Staff, WEO Staff and core staff call ins on weekends and holidays. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's plus 2 or High School plus 6 years' experience

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to delegate and follow-up.
  • Ability to work independently and interdependently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • The ability to become proficient in Workday Reports and EDN process, PBI report generation and UKG- WFM system.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal equivalent of bachelor's degree OR 2 years of college/2 years work experience (administrative or clinical support) preferably in hospital or healthcare setting.

Special knowledge, abilities and skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to delegate and follow-up
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and interdependently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure

Job Requirements:

  • Generates from PBI, bi-weekly employee attendance reports for CSM use.
  • Tracks and reports bi-weekly attendance disciplinary action metrics by unit.
  • Identifies, tracks and reports manager variation in policy application.
  • Tracks and reports compliance with shift requirements for IHA, PRN, WEO Staff.
  • Tracks core staff weekend and holiday call ins to ensure staff are scheduled for makeup shifts.
  • Tracks and reports workforce related statistics as assigned.
  • Responsible for preparation of standard attendance Employee Disciplinary Notice in Workday for Clinical Service Manager (CSM) review and action.
  • Provides supporting policies to CSM for employee counseling.
  • Enters completed disciplinary actions in UKG- WFM System to ensure accurate attendance reports.
  • Resolves CSM identified attendance discrepancies.
  • Communicates with staffing office, Clinical Payroll and CSM to proactively identify and resolve potential unpaid leave situations.
  • Communicates employee discrepancies in compliance with work requirements to CSM for action.
  • Routinely interacts with Clinical Payroll Manager and staff, ADONs, Nursing Directors and CSMs to identify necessary program enhancements insuring consistent attendance policy execution, organizational cost effectiveness in relation to scheduling, time and attendance practices, timely and accurate reporting of all assigned workforce metrics.
  • Serves as a resource to staff and leadership in relation to attendance policy execution.
  • Proactively addresses report related concerns as identified by unit managers and directors
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
