70,977 - 199,722 (at 100%) Application Window Open date: October 22, 2025 Next review date: Friday, Nov 21, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Nov 21, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Division of Undergraduate Education has an opening for a lecturer during the 2026 Winter and Spring Quarters (Beginning of January through June of 2026) for the following two-course sequence: "UNI STU H30E - Cities: Focal Point for Sustainability Problems and Solutions I" and "UNI STU H30F - Cities: Focal Point for Sustainability Problems and Solutions II." This team-taught course sequence explores the nature of cities, focusing on the challenges facing cities today, their possible solutions, and the technical and social constraints on those solutions. In addition, these courses provide students with an opportunity to develop their communication skills by working on a variety of written, oral, and video presentations. Notably, students work with community partners on a group research project suggesting solutions to real-world problems of sustainability.
