The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Expediting Team Lead to oversee and manage our expediting teams across three locations in the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in expediting processes, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive efficiency and performance within the team.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor expediting teams across three locations in the US and Canada

• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment

• Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment and address any challenges

• Develop and implement strategic plans for expediting processes

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

• Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and business partners

• Resolve conflicts and negotiate solutions to ensure project success

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices

• Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions

• Prepare and present regular reports on expediting activities and performance

• Ensure accurate documentation and records are maintained for audit and compliance purposes

• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in expediting or supply chain management

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proven leadership and team management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
