POSITION SUMMARY:



  • The Regional Controller reports to the Regional Chief Finance Officer
  • Located in Lewisville, Texas
  • Full-Time
  • Hybrid



As the Regional Controller, you will assume a senior leadership role overseeing the financial integrity and performance of multiple divisions. You will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the overall success of the organization. The Regional Controller is a seasoned financial professional with over 15 years of experience, bringing extensive expertise in financial management and leadership.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Financial Leadership:



  • Provide strategic financial leadership for multiple divisions within the assigned region.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.


Compliance and Governance:



  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, US GAAP, and company standards.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets.


Strategic Financial Planning:



  • Work closely with divisional leadership to plan, develop, and execute financial strategies.
  • Drive the annual budgeting process, providing insights into profitability, operational efficiencies, and key performance metrics.


Operational Efficiency:



  • Enhance operational effectiveness through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes and procedures across divisions.


Financial Oversight:



  • Oversee month-end and year-end financial closings for divisions within the region.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting, including detailed analysis and explanations of variances.


Team Leadership and Development:



  • Provide leadership to finance teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, communication, and professional development.
  • Evaluate team performance, plan for continual improvement, and identify growth opportunities.


Strategic Partnerships:



  • Act as a key financial advisor in evaluating potential alliances, acquisitions, and/or mergers.
  • Provide valuable financial input in decision-making processes.


Communication:



  • Effectively communicate financial results and strategies to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between the regional finance teams and corporate leadership.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate strategic visions into operational models.

  • Willingness to engage in all functional areas of the business, including sales, procurement, and operations, as needed.



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance, demonstrating a track record of leadership and strategic financial management.
  • Proven experience overseeing financial operations for multiple divisions or regions.
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting solutions and ERP systems.
  • Team management and leadership experience.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.


In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
