Position Title: Instructor of BiologyCompensation: $1,000 - $5,000Department: Biology - TempStart Date: 01/05/2026About this opportunity: The Department of Biology invites part-time adjunct faculty appointments to teach undergraduates course(s) as needed. Potential areas of instruction include Life Science Education, Anatomy, Introductory Biology, Physiology, Wildlife Biology Policy, Botany, Biotechnology and Zoology.Applications will be held on file for one year. Adjunct faculty are limited to teaching up to 9 credit hours per semester. This position is NOT eligible for benefits. What you'll do and what you'll bring: Position Description: Part-time, contract faculty member teaching lecture or lab sections potentially in Life Science Education, Anatomy, Introductory Biology, Physiology, Wildlife Biology Policy, Botany or Biotechnology and Zoology. Minimum Qualifications: Masters Degree in Biology or related field by date of appointment. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the US without employer sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree or higher in Biology or related field and teaching experience at university or college level.
