Our Engine Mechanics perform repairs and overhauls on TFE731 and CFE738 turbofan engines. This includes disassembly, cleaning, evaluations, repairs, reassembly of turbofan engines.

What you'll do:

  • Perform disassembly, inspection, reassembly and testing of turbofan engines.
  • Evaluate engine parts upon removal, taking measurements to match upon re-assembly utilizing calipers and micrometers.
  • Document all work accomplished in a clear, concise and accurate manner.
  • Accomplish repairs and assembly utilizing instructions from Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives.
  • Responsible for knowing, understanding, following, and promoting, company policies and procedures

Position Requirements:

  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Career Levels & Qualifications

We are hiring at multiple levels. Placement will be based on qualifications and experience:

1) Entry-Level Mechanic

  • Have some formal AMT training from an accredited technical school, OEM or military program.
  • Must be able to attain an FAA A&P License within 12 months of hire.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.

2) Licensed Mechanic I

  • Active FAA A&P License.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.

3) Licensed Mechanic II

  • Active FAA A&P License.
  • 2 years of experience as an A&P Mechanic.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn..

Preferred Characteristics:

  • Experience working on TFE731 and/or CFE738 engines, including disassembly and reassembly.
  • Factory authorized / OEM training of certifications.
