We are looking for a Business Process Analyst who's eager to drive efficiency through effective use of data, process, and technology. In this role, you'll take ownership of projects that enhance visibility, efficiency, and alignment across the business. You'll work closely with teams across operations, analytics, and IT to understand their needs, translate them into practical solutions, and continuously improve the systems that power EQT's digital transformation.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, problem-solving environment-balancing independent project ownership with collaboration across diverse teams.

The Business Process Analyst I/II responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Lead and deliver focused projects that improve business processes, data visibility, and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and design solutions that simplify and automate routine tasks.
  • Build reports, dashboards, and lightweight applications using tools such as Power BI, Databricks, and Salesforce.
  • Gather, organize, and validate data to support better decision-making across the organization.
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements and partner with IT or analytics teams for implementation when needed.
  • Document processes, data flows, and solution designs to ensure clarity and sustainability.
  • Communicate progress, insights, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Support senior analysts with complex, high-impact initiatives by contributing data analysis, documentation, and testing.



Required Experience and Skills:



  • Curiosity and a passion for improving how things work through data and technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using SQL, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Ability to understand complex processes and translate them into simple, scalable solutions.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills-you can document clearly and present insights effectively.
  • Comfort working independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Initiative to learn new technologies, tools, and approaches quickly.
  • Experience or interest in operations, data management, or process improvement.



Preferred Experience and Skills



  • 2 + years of data analysis and problem-solving skills - you're comfortable working with SQL and tools such as Databricks, Databricks SQL, and Power BI.
  • Experience building or supporting automated workflows in Slack or Salesforce.
  • Understanding of oil and gas.



Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee.


Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
