Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ, Addison, TX and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract-to-hire position. Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of automated testing solutions across UI, API, and database layers C ontribute to quality engineering efforts in a fast-paced Agile environment, ensuring robust and scalable automation coverage Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java/Python/C# for UI testing Implement API test automation using RestAssured, Postman, or SoapUI, including authentication, payload validation, and response verification Build and execute SQL-based validations for backend testing across Oracle, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or DevOps Design and automate ETL testing workflows using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) Validate data transformations, load processes, and data integrity across staging and production environments Perform test automation and data validation on Hadoop ecosystems using tools like Hive, Pig, or Spark SQL Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure test coverage for big data pipelines and distributed systems Develop comprehensive regression suites for end-to-end testing across UI, API, and DB layers Ensure test coverage for business-critical workflows and edge cases Maintain test data strategies for dynamic and static datasets Work closely with developers, QA analysts, and DevOps engineers to align automation efforts with release cycles Generate detailed test execution reports, logs, and dashboards Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices and standards Requirements: Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with Java, Python, or C# Strong experience in API testing and automation using RestAssured, Postman, or similar Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases Hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL automation and validation Exposure to Hadoop ecosystem and big data testing tools (Hive, Pig, Spark) Familiarity with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, PyTest Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong development skills in Selenium-based frameworks, data integration technologies like SSIS, and big data platforms such as Hadoop Desired skills: Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow) Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) ISTQB or equivalent certification Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
