Job Location Duke Raleigh Hospital Job Summary Emergency Medicine Physicians are clinicians who provide clinical care and treatment for patients presenting at Duke Raleigh Hospital's Emergency Department. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Job Eligibility Requirements Education Work requires a MD or DO, and completion of advanced graduate medical education in Emergency Medicine. License Physician will maintain a current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of North Carolina, and federal and state prescriptive authority. Certification Physician must obtain and maintain board certification by the American Board of Emergency Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. If not EM Board certified, must have current ACLS and BLS certifications. Experience Training experience as mandated by the respective EM Board for board eligibility/certification required. Experience in emergency medicine practice preferred. Job Hours Full-Time, rotating schedule of days, nights, weekends and holidays. Full 1.0 FTE requires 16, 9-hour shifts per month.
