Overview This position is responsible for performing all duties and functions of Distribution Tech II in addition to overseeing the activities of the Distribution Department in the absence of Supervisory staff, ensuring all customer needs are met on a timely basis. Supervision Exercised: This position supervises staff during absents of supervisor.
Supervision Received: Under supervision of assigned managerial staff. Quality Statement: Supports organizational quality efforts by accepting responsibility for:
Reporting any problems relating to the product, process and quality system.
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday - 7:00 pm to 3:30 am. Responsibilities Essential Functions:
Qualifications Education and Experience: Education: High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates Degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of two years previous experience with computerized inventory management system preferred. Minimum of two years previous customer service experience preferred. Licenses and Certification: Must complete and maintain U.S. Department Of Transportation: Transportation of Infectious Substances Certificate. Must complete and maintain U.S. Department Of Transportation: Hazmat Transportation Security awareness training. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge: FDA, CLIA, OSHA regulations. AABB standards. All applicable CBC procedures. Inventory Management, for example, First In First Out, inventory rotation ect. Skills & Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills. Strong attention to detail in all work processes. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. High level of interpersonal skills to handle a variety of complex issues and situations. Position requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy in dealing with a variety of staff up to and including executive leadership. Ability to communicate clearly and with authority, both in writing and verbally, to others in one-on-one or small group settings. Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and customers in a helpful, courteous and friendly manner while demonstrating sensitivity to and respect for diverse populations. Ability to work in a strong team environment. Ability to plan and organize job tasks or resources in an efficient manner. Ability to be responsive and available to management in order to address issues and concerns as they arise.
