POSITION SUMMARY:


This position will be responsible for assisting in setting up an in-house logistics and inventory system for training courses and labs. The position will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:


Responsible for lab supply and logistics tasks at the direction of the Lab supply Supervisor and Profession Education manager- including but not limited to:



  • Maintaining inventory levels
  • Ability to troubleshoot and correct issues with simulated models and corresponding equipment
  • Ability to precisely construct components for lab equipment with little to no supervision
  • Ability to work with technical and specification drawings to produce required lab equipment
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations organized
  • Wear the proper safety equipment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor's/Associates degree a plus but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc)
  • Must be creative, self-motived, proactive, intuitive, organized and deadline oriented.



OTHER REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed
  • Ability to work on your feet, for the duration of a shift, in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 70 pounds, occasionally lift up 70 pounds
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Clean driving record - Ability to be placed on AtriCure insurance policy to be able to drive company van or rental vehicles
