Function: To assemble/manufacture components into finished goods. JOB DESCRIPTION: a) Read and understand general assembly instructions and drawings to turn components into finished products. b) Ensure all components are assembled accurately and securely according to the assembly instructions and drawings.. c) Where required, to kit components from stores using Works Orders to ensure all components specified and picked and safely stored and transferred to the assembly area. d) Ensure all quality requirements are understood and completed during assembly process. Such as; first off inspection, final inspection. e) Identify and address any defects or issues in the assembly process and communicate to supervisor/manager. f) Work efficiently to meet production targets. g) Collaborate with colleagues to improve or streamline assembly processes to help improve q overall productivity where possible. h) To assist in training existing and new employees. i) Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. j) Properly use personal protective equipment (P.P.E.) and report any safety concerns. k) Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on tools to ensure they are in good working condition. l) Report any defects or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor or manager. m) Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy objects and involve tasks that involve repetition o) To perform any other duties in the appropriate area that may be requested by the Head of Department Benefits and Perks Methode offers US employees Medical, Dental, Vision, Hearing, Life & Disability insurance, a wellness program, and time off benefits. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
