Sun Country Inc. seeks Airline Pilots (First Officers) in Minneapolis, MN:

Responsible for the safe and reliable operation of Sun Country's aircraft fleet for the purpose of passenger transportation; responsible for maintaining flight logs, using aviation software, and adhering to FAA regulations; act as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) or Second-in-Command (SIC) on company aircraft; adhere to all company FAA Approved Standard Operating Procedures; ensure compliance with applicable FARs (Federal Aviation Regulations) and local regulations; interpret weather information from various sources to ensure the safe of operation of flights; communicate with traffic control facilities and ensure compliance with all clearances; and lead flight crew on both domestic and international flights.

Position requires current FAA First Class Medical Certificate and FCC Radio License.

Position also requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification from the Federal Aviation Administration; 1500 flight and flight simulator hours upon completion of simulator training, 1470 hours upon hire (of which 70 hours can be simulator time), including: 500 hours of cross country; 100 hours of night; 75 hours of instrument; 25 hours of multi-engine (excluding simulator time); must be at least 23 years old.

Alternatively, must have graduated from an FAA Part 141 accredited school with a bachelor's degree and at least 60 credit hours earned in an Aviation Major; restricted Airline Transport Pilot (R-ATP) eligible; requires 1000 flight and flight simulator hours upon completion of simulator training, 970 hours upon hire (of which 70 hours can be simulator time), including: 250 hours must be PIC in an airplane; 200 hours of cross country (100 hours of which needs to be PIC cross country in an airplane); 100 hours of night (25 hours of which needs to be PIC night in an airplane); 75 hours of instrument; 25 hours of multi-engine (excluding simulator time); requires successful completion of ATP/CTP course and current ATP written; must be at least 21 years old.

Pilots are based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pilot flight schedules require approximately 12-16 days of domestic/international travel per month.
