Building on our past. Ready for the future

Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Play an integral role in building a sustainable future. At Worley, we're driving some of the world's most ambitious projects-like the design and production of industrial air contactors for direct air capture plants that help remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Our team is shaping the next generation of clean manufacturing, and we're looking for a Quality Manager who is passionate about precision, improvement, and purpose.

As our Quality Manager, you will ensure that every product leaving our facility meets the highest standards of reliability, safety, and performance. This role is central to our mission-bridging teams, guiding quality initiatives, and helping us deliver excellence that supports global carbon reduction goals.

Purpose of the Role

You will be responsible for leading and strengthening quality operations within our manufacturing facility. Your focus will be maintaining and improving our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with applicable standards, and partnering across departments to embed quality into every process. This role will influence how we manufacture, verify, and continuously improve our products-making quality a shared responsibility across the organization.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain the site's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
  • Oversee all quality functions, including incoming material inspection, in-process verification, and final product testing for industrial air contactors.
  • Ensure compliance with ASME, API, AWS, and related fabrication codes while managing all quality documentation and certification records.
  • Plan and conduct internal, supplier, and third-party audits; drive timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Use Lean and Six Sigma tools to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, reducing waste and defects.
  • Lead, coach, and develop quality inspectors and technicians-creating a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to embed quality assurance into design and manufacturing processes.
  • Support Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) and serve as the primary contact for customer or regulatory inspections.
  • Investigate nonconformances, perform root cause analyses, and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track progress, identify trends, and align results with business objectives.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field-or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise with ISO 9001 standards and demonstrated success maintaining compliance in a production setting.
  • Working knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, or NACE standards relevant to industrial equipment fabrication.
  • Strong auditing and CAPA experience, along with hands-on familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • A leadership style that's both decisive and collaborative, with the ability to mentor teams and influence across functions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills that inspire confidence and clarity.

Preferred certifications:

  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Lean Manufacturing Certification
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or NACE Coatings Inspector Certification (CIP)
  • PMP Certification (a plus for project-based quality oversight)
