| What to Expect Tesla is seeking a seasoned Cost Control Specialist with relevant construction experience to support the buildout of Tesla's global facilities and infrastructure. This position will be directly responsible for managing construction cost, support implementing and tracking change management process for engineering and construction throughout the various stages of the project.   Develop and implement cost management programs, including budget control, cost tracking, and forecasting during project executionCapture and manage change orders, ensuring accurate cost forecasting throughout the projectAssist in developing project control processes, including change management, cost forecasting, risk management, and earned value, in collaboration with cross-functional teamsCreate reports and dashboards to communicate cost performance to various teams and management levelsPerform trend analysis to evaluate cost performance, identify risks, validate forecasts, and communicate findings to stakeholdersDevelop cost reports and tools to inform decision-making, track project performance, and conduct ad-hoc cost studies to assess project viabilityAssist in preparing project funding requests, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements during project close-outWhat You'll Bring
  
  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experienceStrong understanding of construction methods across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplinesExpertise in cost estimating processes for large-scale, multi-billion-dollar facilitiesHigh proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reportingExperienced with Aconex, P6, Bluebeam, CAD, and other construction-related softwareFamiliar with construction schedules and estimating resources like R.S.
