This role will be full-time day shift from Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist leads a team through complex problem-solving and facilitates cross-functional teams. Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist Job Responsibilities: 
 
   
 - Partners with leaders to support high-profile projects that transform the way we care for patients across our health system, often acting as a strategic advisor system-wide projects sponsored by C-Suite team members.
 - Leads cross-functional teams through a methodical process to assess, improve and sustain results while leveraging Project Management and Continuous Improvement best practices.
 - Develops and delivers project communications which includes executive-level presentations.
 - Coaches clinical and system service team members (executive and c-suite leaders) in Continuous Improvement fundamentals.
 - Applies and teaches the Continuous Improvement toolset (DMAIC, process mapping, standard work, visual management, as examples) for use in a variety of settings including clinical, support, and executive.
 - Participates in creating and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across the organization by encouraging employees to identify areas for improvement and contributing to the development of a more efficient and effective organization.
 - Mentors and supports the members of the Continuous Improvement team to advance their technical and adaptive skills.
 - May perform other duties as assigned.
 
  
 
 
 
Minimum Qualifications: 
 
   
 - Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree)
 - Experience: 5 years of experience with Toyota Production System fluency
 - Certification: Six Sigma Black Belt within 6 months of hire
 
  
 
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
 
   
 - Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred).
 - Experience leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives in a hospital or healthcare environment.
 - Proven ability to analyze complex workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement data-driven solutions to enhance quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
 - Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or other analytics software).
 - Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive measurable results.
 - Excellent communication, collaboration, and change management skills to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
