Project Portfolio Manager - JLL What this job involves: As a Project Portfolio Manager at JLL, you will oversee and coordinate multiple projects within the organization's portfolio to ensure strategic alignment, optimal resource allocation, and successful delivery of business objectives. This role serves as the central point of coordination between project teams, senior leadership, and stakeholders while maintaining visibility into project performance across the entire portfolio. You'll define and maintain portfolio management frameworks, processes, and governance structures while ensuring all projects align with organizational strategic objectives and business priorities that reflect JLL's commitment to strategic excellence and operational delivery. What your day-to-day will look like: Portfolio Strategy & Governance: * Define and maintain portfolio management frameworks, processes, and governance structures for organizational alignment * Ensure all projects align with organizational strategic objectives and business priorities * Develop portfolio roadmaps and communicate strategic direction to project teams and stakeholders * Facilitate portfolio steering committee meetings and provide strategic guidance on portfolio decisions Project Oversight & Coordination: * Monitor project progress, milestones, budgets, and deliverables across the portfolio with comprehensive oversight * Identify interdependencies between projects and coordinate resources to prevent conflicts and maximize efficiency * Facilitate cross-project communication and ensure knowledge sharing between teams * Coordinate resolution efforts across multiple projects while maintaining strategic focus Performance Management & Reporting: * Establish portfolio-level KPIs and metrics to track performance against strategic goals * Prepare executive-level dashboards and reports on portfolio health, risks, and outcomes * Conduct regular portfolio reviews with senior leadership and project sponsors * Provide data-driven insights for executive decision-making and strategic planning Resource Optimization: * Analyze resource capacity and allocation across projects to maximize efficiency and prevent bottlenecks * Make recommendations for resource reallocation or project prioritization based on business value and strategic importance * Optimize portfolio performance through strategic resource management and allocation strategies Risk & Issue Management: * Identify portfolio-level risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies * Escalate critical issues to appropriate stakeholders and coordinate resolution efforts across multiple projects * Maintain risk registers and ensure proper risk management practices across all portfolio projects * Implement proactive risk management approaches to prevent project disruptions Stakeholder Management: * Build and maintain relationships with project sponsors, senior executives, and key business stakeholders * Communicate portfolio performance and strategic insights to executive-level audiences * Manage complex stakeholder relationships while influencing without direct authority Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, engineering, or related field * Minimum 7-10 years of project management experience with at least 3-5 years in portfolio or program management roles * Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with experience in portfolio management tools and methodologies * Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences * Proficiency in project management software, financial analysis, and data visualization tools * Proven ability to influence without direct authority and manage complex stakeholder relationships Preferred Qualifications: * PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project/program management certification * Experience in commercial real estate or similar industry context * Familiarity with Agile and traditional project methodologies * Demonstrated success managing large, complex project portfolios with budgets exceeding $10M annually * Experience with portfolio management software and advanced analytics tools * Background in strategic planning and business transformation initiatives Location: Onsite/Hybrid This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
