Job Description PCG is looking for talented students to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program at our Corporate Headquarters in Lenexa, KS! This is a full-time paid internship supporting our Accounting Department during the summer of 2026. Applicants for the Summer program should be able to commit to a 10-week internship, Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. This role is responsible for assisting with the following: Assist with preparing our accounting for audits Create journal entries Ensure all journal entries are accounted for Verify that proper support systems are in place Scan journal entries into an electronic format Assist with day-to-day financial analysis This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship Basic Requirements Must be in pursuit of an undergraduate accounting degree during the summer of 2026 Must have completed introductory college-level accounting courses Ability to work well in a team environment through effective collaboration Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and/or Teams Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines consistently Customer service-oriented and able to maintain a professional demeanor Display strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Requirements Local to the KC Metro area Currently in third or fourth year of undergraduate program preferred Benefits At Performance Contracting Group, our employees are our greatest asset.
