YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.

  • Provide Product Expertise:Responsible for subject matter expertise of all equity lending products and services.
  • Communicate Effectively:Effective communication with borrowers, peers, underwriters, and other business partners regarding all origination activities.
  • Support Application Processes:Participate in the income, appraisal, and title processes of centralized applications.
  • Identify Borrower Needs:Identify additional borrower needs through consultative conversations and facilitate the opening of the applicable products.
  • Recommend Lending Solutions:Identify potential solutions for borrowers through exceptions or alternate lending products.
  • Serve as Primary Contact:Act as the primary point of contact for all involved parties adhering to proper communication standards throughout fulfillment process.
  • Manage Communications:Responsible for inbound & outbound phone communications and emails, ensuring all information is delivered professionally, accurately, and in a timely manner.
  • Manage Application Pipeline:Actively manage pipeline of applications and stay w/in department service level agreements, while consistently meeting all quality & productivity standards.
  • Improve Customer Service:Actively participate in ongoing efforts to continually improve customer service for internal and external customers.
  • Support Team Development:Responsible for ongoing training, mentorship and development of team members.
  • Monitor Pipeline Reports:Assist in regular monitoring of reports utilized for pipeline management and compliance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

We require a Highschool Diploma, along with four years or more of consumer lending processing or retail banking.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Qualified candidates will possess a degree of proficiency (typically from 4 or more years of work or practical experience), in:

  • Consumer Lending Knowledge:Extensive knowledge of consumer, retail and loan policies, procedures and products and consumer lending guidelines.
  • SAFE Act Certified: This position requires SAFE Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System ("NMLS").
  • Operational Issue Resolution:Demonstrated ability to resolve complex operational issues and de-escalate customer concerns.
  • Multitasking Ability:Able to handle multiple tasks and perform under pressure.
  • Policy Analysis:Able to analyze policies, procedures and guidelines in a way that maximizes productivity but protects the level of risk desired.
  • Fulfillment Process Knowledge:Knowledge of processing procedures; knowledge of underwriting and/or closing procedures.
  • Regulatory Knowledge:Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing residential real estate lending.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills:Proven organizational and time management skills required.
  • Communication Skills:Strong written and verbal communications skills required.
  • Teamwork and Customer Service:Demonstrated teamwork and customer service.
  • Technology Proficiency:Strong PC skills required, experience with loan origination systems, platform tools and technology required.

SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:

Qualified candidates will possess a degree of proficiency (typically from 6 years of work or practical experience), across a suite of skills including, but not limited to:

  • Customer Service: 6+ years of experience in customer service role involving consultative sales preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree: possessing a bachelors degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
