Description The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Continuity and Operations Manager for the Mt. Weather location. This opening is in support of the HEITS Contract as part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a team of personnel to lead the DHS continuity mission for the classified networks while also serving as both the site manager and primary Leidos interface for the customer with regards to requirements development, project execution oversight, mission priorities, and program development. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
Lead the Mt. Weather team and ensure that all personnel are fulfilling customer and program objectives. Support all staff management activities inclusive of recruiting, hiring, performance evaluating, and directing personnel. Support training efforts to help team members learn the technology and mission domain. Support all documentation to effectively capture the configuration baseline. Engage with the customer to identify requirements and ensure team alignment to government directed activities. Build partnership with senior government leaders to ensure full compliance with all site Continuity objectives. Help the customer identify optimize services to enhance system functionality. Report through Leidos leadership on metrics, status, Mt. Weather Activities. Ensure proper escalation of issues to Leidos leadership and partner with other teams on the HEITS program to ensure resources are available to fulfill mission requirements. Support financial cost assessments and general management including estimate at completion analysis for personnel and timecard oversight. Ensure all subcontractors on site and within the operations organization have appropriate charge codes within SLATE and ultimately are able to charge the appropriate project codes. Serve as an oversight manager for activities outside of Mt. Weather when called upon to help augment the leadership team in gap coverage and personnel management.
Basic Qualifications:
Experienced with preparing and presenting briefings to senior customer management, and customer stakeholders Experience at building strong customer relationships resulting in business development and on program growth.
Working knowledge of Enterprise IT systems like Microsoft Windows, Palo Alto Firewall VPNs, Networking, SharePoint, SQL Server, and security tools like Nessus. Active Top Secret government security clearance; ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience (10+ years) in IT service delivery management Experience with modeling and simulation. Experience with continuity mission activities. Experience with data analytics and visualization. Experience with supporting Leidos quality audits [ISO/CMMI] Track record of on-contract growth.

Pay Range:Pay Range $134,550.00 - $243,225.00
