Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

SUMMARY

The Dairy & Livestock Credit Support provides comprehensive administrative and customer service support to the Dairy & Livestock Industries Group, ensuring efficient handling of both borrowing and deposit-only relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of Bank policies and procedures, professional communication via phone and email, and a commitment to maintaining a polished and organized work environment.

Key responsibilities include processing daily financial transactions such as loan payments, advances, and wire transfers; assisting with loan renewals and documentation; and supporting audit compliance and meeting preparation. The position also involves gathering and verifying account documentation, coordinating with internal teams, and delivering exceptional service through independent judgment and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers exceptional customer service to clients within the Dairy & Livestock Industries Group, responding to inquiries and requests via phone and email for both borrowing and deposit-only relationships.
  • Applies a thorough understanding of the Bank's established policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency in daily operations.
  • Accurately processes daily financial activities including advances, paydowns, loan payments, telephone transfers, and resolution of NSF, non-post, and special items.
  • Participates as a designated member of "Team B" for wire processing, ensuring timely and accurate execution of wire transactions.
  • Collects and verifies required documentation for new account openings, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit, in accordance with Business Financial Center and Loan Documentation standards.
  • Assists in the preparation and processing of loan renewals, including sending personal financial statements and certifications for signature and coordinating with CPA's as needed.
  • Conducts routine clerical tasks such as filing, typing, answering phones, and assembling meeting reports and packages to support departmental operations.
  • Ensures adherence to all Bank audit procedures and contributes to maintaining compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
  • Assists with electronics scanning and uploading of financial documents into the Bank's systems and initiates Experian requests through RPS, ensuring proper documentation and officer approvals.
  • Complies with, and stays abreast of, all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
  • Provide, present, and promote the Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Degree and a minimum of two (2) years related bank financing and leasing experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence (outside and e-mail) in a professional manner consistent with Bank standards. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply basic math concepts to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals using a PC or calculator. Loan and lease pricing and amortization calculations.

REASONING ABILITY

Apply common sense understanding to carry out written and/or oral instructions. Assess problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations and provide solutions.

COMPUTER & SOFTWARE SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word Processing software and Citizens Advisor Level 1 competency.
