Business related transportation and expenses will be paid by the organization. This intern will work part-time during the school year starting in January 2026, and full-time through the summer of 2026.The internship is located out ofour Onalaska, WI, Sun Prairie, WI, Prairie du Sac, WI, Bloomington, IL, Naperville, IL or Lakeville, MN office locations. The contributions you will make: This internship offers an opportunity to assist the New Markets team with lending and product development programs focused on sustainability and conservation within the agricultural sector.This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in sustainability and conservation within the agricultural sector, who is also adept at using modern tools and technologies to enhance research and presentations. A typical day: Participate in the project management and implementation of sustainability and conservation programs. Research emerging trends in financial institutions related to sustainability needs in agriculture. Review applicable federal programs, such as AMP and BFF, to develop recommendations for clients and explore partnership opportunities with program awardees. Investigate programs and practices of other Farm Credit associations and financial institutions. Analyze the FCA YBS (Young, Beginning, and Small Farmers) Annual Report and compare it against Compeer's results. Design and create presentations with Canva and Microsoft PowerPoint to create visually appealing presentations that effectively communicate complex information. Leverage AI and emerging tools for processing program research and reporting. Design graphics and visual content to enhance reports and presentations, ensuring professional and engaging delivery of research findings and program summaries. The skills and experience we prefer you have: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree in agricultural business, business administration, finance, economics, or data science. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities. Keen attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Solid organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and precision in all tasks. How we will take care of you: Actual hourly rate offered is dependent upon year in school, work experience, transferable skills, business needs and market demands. The hourly rate range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
